Technical assistance and training are the core of FAO’s mandate and are provided based on FAO Member government requests.   Any information related to, or requests for, training assistance by FAO should be directed to the FAO Representative office in the interested country.

While FAO does not have available funds to support individual requests for training, study and technical assistance, the Organization makes available a variety of on-line training resources which can be accessed through the FAO Capacity Development Portal. This website is a gateway for accessing knowledge, training tools, good practices and services in Capacity Development in FAO's mandate areas.
