The most recent digital map of irrigation is available on the AQUASTAT Web site.

In addition, a recent work on breakdown between surface and groundwater irrigation has been performed and written on the subject, with relevant country statistics and information.

Additional information can be obtained on a country basis from the Aquastat country profile.

The soil information is freely available from here.

You will need GIS software to access it and also you will need a map of administrative boundaries in these countries such as available from here.
