Dimitra Newsletter 23: Listeners’ clubs: new partnerships

May 2013: Dimitra Newsletter 23 is now available in English and French (entire newsletter). You can also download individual articles, see overview Dimitra Newsletter 23. This newsletter outlines the project’s most recent activities and achievements, especially the development and growing impact of the Dimitra listeners’ clubs. These successes are producing growing recognition for the Dimitra approach and a strong increase in the number of partnerships.

FAO-Dimitra is part of the FAO-Belgium partnership programme “Knowledge Management and Gender”. The “Capitalization of good practices in support of agricultural production and food security” project – another component of the programme – recently organized two minifairs to exchange good practices, in Niger and Burkina Faso.

In Dimitra Newsletter 23: Mini-fairs for the exchange of good practices in Niger and Burkina Faso

May 2013: In December 2012, FAO’s “Capitalization of good practices in support of agricultural production and food security” project organized two mini-fairs to exchange good practices. One was held in Niamey, Niger and the other in Founzan, Burkina Faso. These meetings enabled the men and women who attended these events to share and exchange the good practices documented during this four-year project on agricultural input management. How to organize a knowledge share fair in Sahel?

May 2013: A knowledge share fair is a place where everyone has the opportunity to share their experiences, knowledge and what they have learned during the implementation of projects and activities. After knowledge share fairs in Rome, Addis Ababa and Cali, it was Niamey's turn in June 2010 to organize such an event. The fair was held in the framework of the FAO-Belgium partnership "Knowledge Management and Gender." Video in French: Comment organiser une foire aux savoirs au Sahel? The partnership of the project Capitalization with the union Cigaba

March 2013: Le partenariat du projet Capitalisation avec l’union Cigaba. La vidéo partage les impressions des membres de l’union Cigaba de Konkorindo sur le partenariat avec le projet Capitalisation.
