Our Mandate: To keep the world food supply/demand situation under continuous review, issue reports on the world food situation (See our Publications: Food Outlook, Crop Prospects and Food Situation, etc.), and provide early warnings of impending food crises in individual countries.

The International Alliance Against Hunger was born as a voluntary partnership for combining the strengths of local, national and international governmental and non-governmental organizations, service and religious organizations, the private sector and concerned individuals with the common mission of working to eradicate hunger on our planet.

Its goal was to stimulate and coordinate efforts to improve the quality and availability of food analysis data worldwide and to ensure that anyone anywhere would be able to obtain adequate and reliable food composition data.
