EASYPol is a web-based multilingual publishing series and knowledge sharing platform of freely downloadable resources for policy making in agriculture, rural development and food security. 

These resources focus on policy findings, methodological tools and capacity development.

The European System of Cooperative Research Networks in Agriculture (ESCORENA) established in 1974 by FAO and European research institutions is a European initiative to enhance sustainable agricultural development and food security by improving the use of information, communication and associated technologies.

The FAO Electronic Forum on Biotechnology in Food and Agriculture was established in March 2000 with the aim of providing quality balanced information on agricultural biotechnology in developing countries and to make a neutral platform available for people to exchange views and experiences on this subject.

We define participation in development as a process of equitable and active involvement of all stakeholders in the formulation of development policies and strategies and in the analysis, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development activities.
