Infosylva is an information service of news clippings provided by the FAO Forestry Information Centre with news on forestry in English, French and Spanish. The articles are in their original language and compiled every two weeks.

National institutions of 23 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe have taken part in the Network's activities, under the overall coordination of FAO's Forestry Department, and with the technical support of the Danida Forest Seed Centre (DFSC).

The newsletter covers all aspects of rural poultry development in developing countries and the editor is responsible for collecting and analysing available information for each edition. The majority of contributions come from the members themselves.

The main purpose of the MNR is to establish a communication vehicle for closer dialogue between the FAO Secretariat and the Members of the Intergovernmental Group (IGG) on Grains as well as the general public.
