FAO in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF), the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) and the Supreme Council for Planning (SCP) of Oman are co-organizing a national workshop in Muscat from 1 to 5 December 2019, to increase awareness among all national stakeholders on mainstreaming food and agriculture in the SDGs.

The workshop also aims at building capacities of national statisticians and other related technical staff on a number of selected SDG goals and indicators that are most relevant to Oman and are under the FAO custodianship.

The workshop is organized in the framework of the FAO-Oman workshop on SDG indicators.
