Bagoni FFS group during a group dynamics exercise, Busia district, UgandaEast African Sub-Regional Pilot Project for Farmers’ Field Schools on Integrated Production and Pest Management - Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (IPPM-FFS Programme - IFAD/FAO)

This project (IFAD Technical Assistance Grant No. 427) was established to study the impact of FFS on poverty alleviation, in three countries for three seasons (1999-2000, 2000-2001 and 2001-2002). It is supported by the Ministries of Agriculture, Local Governments, and the Global IPM Facility of FAO. The project areas are Western Kenya, Eastern Uganda and North-western Tanzania (Kagera Region).
