The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is an autonomous, international post-graduate institute based in Bangkok, Thailand. Established in 1959, AIT set out since then to respond to the needs of the Asia-Pacific region through higher education, training and research. AIT Extension adds an exiting new dimension to AIT's work. Bringing together the Institute's highly-regarded academic and outreach centers, Extension identifies and responds to regional opportunities for continuing education, training and consultancy, and thus helps realize AIT's mission to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who will play a leading role in the sustainable development of the region. Through its 3 Divisions: Agriculture Resources and Development (ARD), Information Technology (IT), Management and Education Development (MED), and Language Center, Extension offers on-campus and off-campus short term education and training programs and consultancy services that respond to clients' needs. |
