In occasion of IPTRID's Assistant Programme Manager
mission in the United States of America in December 2004, the USBR
office in Washington was visited in order to revise and strengthen
the existing partnership. A request was made to the Bureau to
assign some of their staff time to IPTRID activities. The level
and nature of this contribution will depend on further discussions,
to be continued in early 2005.
The USBR has nominated Mr Delbert Smith as the new IPTRID Coordinator, in replacement of Mr Rodney Tekrony who has just retired.
