Introduction

This Bibliography references documents by or about John Boyd Orr, including journal articles, books, reports, proceedings, lectures, speeches, and theses. A few citations refer to documents about him (i.e., two obituaries published after his death).

These materials were originally part of the Lord Boyd Orr Memorial Library, established by FAO’s Governing Bodies in 1973 as a "permanent activity dedicated to the memory of Lord Boyd Orr." Upon closure of the library in 2000, its collection was transferred to the David Lubin Memorial Library.
