Resumen 44Estimation of the digestibility of nitrogen of Calopogonium mucunoides in the rabbit.

Digestibility of nutrients was estimated during 10 days in 4 male rabbits, 3 months old, fed exclusively on Calopogonium mucunoides leaves and stems. Digestibility of DM was 58.06, nitrogen 84.58, fats 55.32, crude fibre 45.19, nitrogen-free extract 59.38 and minerals 62.13%. Mean N balance at the end of the experiment was 1.34 g.
