MAFAP country level activities in Mozambique to start in February Country-level activities to start up the MAFAP project are about to start in Mozambique. Two members of FAO’s MAFAP team will visit Maputo from 12 – 22 February to establish contacts with main counterparts and stakeholders. These include the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Planning and Development, as well as several development partners and research institutes. The initial focus of MAFAP will be the analysis of market incentives and disincentives faced by farmers in a selected number of commodities.
