Participation
- Participation in the Conference is by invitation only. Participants will be senior experts in agricultural development, food security and/or natural resource and land management. They will come from a wide range of institutions and organizations, including government Ministries, international organizations, NGOs and other sectors of civil society, such as farmers organizations and land and other natural resource-user groups. Those who cannot participate in person will be able to follow and contribute to the deliberations by email and internet.
- A "Virtual Maastricht Web Forum" event is being organized to coincide with and reinforce the proceedings in Maastricht. The Virtual Conference will diffuse information about the actual Conference and will provide a forum for discussion, enabling the broader public to participate virtually in the ongoing process.
