Swat project conference

The Swat Project is an alpine course organized by Mountain Wilderness in the mountainous regions of Swat in Pakistan. This project is now closing up its first phase and is ready to move forward towards the goal of creating a new national park in the Swat region in order to protect these mountains and its beautiful landscapes.

Mountain Wilderness and the International Association of Mediterranean and Oriental Studies (ISMEO) will be organizing a conference at the National Institute of Archaeology and the History of Art in Rome, Italy where a number of different speakers will present stories about this project and how Italy has contributed to its development.
