The Mountain and Water Pavilion at UNFCCC COP20

During the 20th session of the Conference of Parties (COP20) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on 1-12 December 2014 there will be a pavilion reserved for mountains and water located at the Jockey Club del Peru. The pavilion will be a space for discussions, exhibits and videos on four different topics namely: water, glaciers and basins; ecosystems, biodiversity and food security; integrated climate risk management; goods and services and sustainable investments.

The pavilion is organized by the Ministry of Environment of Peru, Swiss Development Cooperation, CONDESAN, Belgium Technical Cooperation, Inter-American Development Bank, National Water Authority, SERNANP, International Potato Center and CARE, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. throughout COP20. Alongside COP20, there will be another four pavilions on other topics in addition to mountains and water.

The Organizing Committee of the Mountain and Water Pavilion (MWP) considers important to provide you with additional information in order to facilitate your engagement with this process:
