International Snow Science Workshop

The International Snow Science Workshop will be held for the first time in France 7-11 October 2013 at the Alpexpo in Grenoble with the goal of promoting interaction between practitioners and researchers in the fields of snow and avalanches.

The workshop runs for the entire week and participants will also go on a field trip to visit the Chamonix Mont-Blanc valley for a closer look at the French avalanche programs.

Translation of oral presentations will be available in English, French, Italian and German and there will be a full social agenda to complement the week.

The call for papers will open on 15 January and registration begins in April.
