World Biodiversity Forum

From: 23.02.2020 to: 28.02.2020

This forum aims to bring together diverse perspectives to redefine and set the agenda for biodiversity efforts over the next decade. The forum supports the “New Deal for Nature” to be forged by the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) at the end of next year. The end goal is to produce a statement to chart the way forward to achieve the “New Deal for Nature” by recognizing the existential and economic importance of biodiversity and ecosystem functions as forming the basis of human existence, and their importance in achieving sustainability.
