The Multi-dimensional Agriculture and Animal Farmer Group Nepal (MAAF Nepal) is an alliance of multidisciplinary professionals working in the field of integrated development. The member-based non-governmental, non-profit organization is locally and nationally established, and is committed to excellence in sustainable community development. MAAF Nepal is registered at local and district level in the rural municipality of Makwanpur, Nepal. Projects are carried out in the rural hills and mountain region of Nepal, and are focused on agriculture and livelihoods; marketing; health and sanitation; and education. Projects and activities have been implemented in collaboration and partnership with national and international organizations. MAAF Nepal implements projects focusing on poor households; women; under-served, disadvantaged communities; and children. The organization aims at reducing poverty in rural communities through off- and on-farm interventions. Within on-farm interventions, MAAF Nepal emphasizes eco-friendly vegetable and crop farming. |
