International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD)

The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), based in Nepal, is a focal point for research, institutional strengthening, cooperation, and information sharing among the mountain areas of Asia, especially in the Hindu Kush Himalayas.

In 2013, the Mountain Partnership elected ICIMOD to the Steering Committee to represent the civil society electoral group in the Asia and Pacific region for the four-year period, 2014-2017.
