The Mountain Institute (TMI) is a non-profit scientific and educational organization committed to the preservation of mountain environments and advancement of mountain cultures around the world.
In 2013, the Mountain Partnership elected TMI to the Steering Committee to represent the global Major Group Organizations for the four-year period, 2014-2017.
