University of Rome Sapienza - Department of Environmental Biology

The Department of Environmental Biology is part of the University of Rome Sapienza, one of the largest universities in Europe. Permanent staff of the Department developed a wide range of expertise in support of basic and applied research, covering different levels of biological organization, from molecular to landscape. In particular, research topics include: biogeography, conservation biology, ecology, geobotany, landscape ecology, mycology, paleobotany, plant ecology, pathology and physiology.
