 IPROMO 2018: Bio economy in the mountains02.07.2018Issue 117 – Month 7 – Year 2018 The July 2018 issue of Peak to Peak provides a brief overview of the International Programme on Research and Training on Sustainable Management of Mountain Areas (IPROMO) that was held from 18 June to 2 July 2018 in Ormea and Pieve Tesino, Italy. The newsletter continues with stories about the Mountain Futures conference in China; the High-level International Conference on the International Decade for action “Water for Sustainable Development” held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan; the Mountain Partnership members meeting in Kygyzsztan; and the agreement to improve mountain livelihoods that was signed between Food and Agriculture Organization and IFOAM - Organics International in Rome, Italy. Peak to Peak provides a sampling of Mountain Partnership members’ activities and events and features a mountain-related publication and video.
