 Enter the #MountainsMatter video contest03.10.2017Issue 109 – Month 10 – Year 2017 The October issue of Peak to Peak launches the #MountainsMatter video contest, to bring attention to the plight of mountain peoples and ecosystems for International Mountain Day 2017. The newsletter continues with stories about the University of the Mountains’ initiative to revitalize the Greek art of weaving across Crete, a project to collect water in the form of fog in Costa Rica, the preparations of two Mountain Partnership (MP) members in the United States in light of the upcoming Global Meeting, and a meeting of the International Land Coalition held in Kyrgyzstan and attended by several Central Asian MP members. Peak to Peak provides a sampling of MP members’ activities and events and features a mountain-related publication and video. |
