The office of FAO in Mozambique employs 89 people, of which 78 are Mozambican. The Representation is composed of three units: (i) Administration, (ii) Programme and Operations and (iii) Procurement.

Present in 39 districts of seven provinces, FAO has a team of experts in the fields of agronomy, forestry, fisheries, food security and nutrition, veterinary, rural development, natural resources, post-harvest, pesticides, monitoring and evaluation, law, economics and management, among others.
