FAO has recently published a field guide The living marine resources of Kenya covering the major resource groups likely to be encountered in the fisheries of Kenya. The guide includes shrimps, lobsters, crabs, bivalves, gastropods, cephalopods, sea cucumbers, sharks, batoid fishes, bony fishes, and sea turtles. It contains general information, as well as technical and scientific terms accompanied by illustrations, diagnostic features and further literature.
The field guide is part of the FAO FishFinder programme
