Larger Grain Borer-awareness workshops have been held in six of the affected provinces in Zambia. Workshop subjects include: storage pests and their identification with emphasis on LGB; LGB in Zambia and its implications; improved storage structures; plant quarantine and phytosanitary services regulations and procedures; and a practical on sampling maize consignments.
