FAO Regional Conference for the Near East (NERC) - Ministerial meeting
12 May 2016, Rome--- A two-day high-level session convened today at FAO headquarters, with the participation of Ministers of agriculture and other related sectors, as well as representatives from observer countries, sister UN agencies, international governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations. The ministerial session discussed priority issues at the regional as well as country level related to agriculture, food security and rural development and reviewed the report of the senior officers' meeting.
