Echoes on Soaring Food prices from UN Radio
WFP and FAO raise funds to intervene in world food crisis As prices of basic foods continue to rise, the UN food agencies are concerned that up to 100 million people may be at risk of starvation. The World Food Programme and the Food and Agriculture Organization are both raising extra funds to help developing countries cope with the crisis.
