"Renewed Efforts Against Hunger (REACH)" - ONE UN
"Renewed Efforts Against Hunger (REACH)" is a multi-agency approach that presents an effective way of operationalising the 'One UN 'concept. It is aimed at building a strong framework for national inter-sectorial and inter-agency synergies, which would in turn provide stronger and more sustainable results in terms of reduction of child hunger and malnutrition.REACH in Mauritania. Government staff from relevant ministries, UN agencies (UNICEF, FAO, WFP, WHO), and NGOs have been working together to gain a common understanding of the current activities and gaps related to food and nutrition. This has led to increased collaboration at local and national level and
