16 November 2016, Rome/Marrakech--- Food security experts and high-level delegates have one last chance to push agriculture issues into the spotlight for those in attendance at the UN’s Climate Conference in Marrakesh, Morocco. This annual conference of parties – known this year as COP22 – will feature today an “Agriculture and Food Security Action event”, one of the main events asking participants to showcase climate action before the conference concludes on November 18th. According to the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization, agriculture presents the greatest opportunity for climate actions. The organization says agriculture is unrivalled in its potential to simultaneously address poverty, hunger and climate change.

Mark Davis, Senior Natural Resources Officer with FAO in Rome, elaborates more on these issues. (Interview conducted by Sandra Ferrari)
