Vetiver, a solution to soil erosion in Malawi
18 November 2015--- Toni Gonani of Dzimwe Community Radio interviews Mr. Jones Kaimbwa, an extension worker from Malawi Lake Basin Program. They discuss soil erosion and an ecological solution to erosion; vetiver grass. This type of grass helps to hold soil tight and prevents erosion caused by rainfall. It is available to farmers, easily cared for and can be used to produce manure.
