©FAO/Issouf Sanogo
25 November 2014, Rome--- Food Security continues to be a major concern across the 9 countries of the Sahel. A humanitarian appeal has been made for the region, due to a lack of funding caused by crisis around the world also requiring significant attention.

He was in Rome recently and he joined me to explain more about what is happening on the ground and how funding towards food security and agricultural development are key to helping the millions of people suffering the region.
