Full Interview: IAEA and Food Fraud Detection using Isotopes

25 February 2016--- Steve Thachet, communications consultant for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), interviewed Simon Kelly, Food Safety Specialist in Traceability. The interview took place at the Food and Environmental Protection Laboratory of the Joint FAO/IAEA Division of Nuclear Applications in Food and Agriculture located in Seibersdorf near Vienna.

Together they discussed the role of stable isotopes in detecting food fraud, as well as the role of the IAEA-FAO joint programme in assisting developing countries access this technology. This is the full cut of an interview featured in episode 2 of FAO’s new food security podcast.
