©FAO/Jon Spaull
23 May 2016--- Malawi is one of the countries that depend on agriculture for its livelihood but youth step aside when it comes to farming. This year, the country experienced a drought that affected most farmers resulting in low maize production. This segment talks about young people who want to make a difference in agriculture through horticulture and livestock farming and how they hope to contribute to achieve Zero Hunger in the nation. Their stories are so inspiring and worth sharing with young people because I believe the future of agriculture are in the hands of youth.
