29 June 2016, Juba--- In South Sudan, 4.8 million people, over one-third of the population, are projected to be in need of urgent food assistance through July. With a risk of famine in some parts of the country the situation is expected to deteriorate further in the coming months. This is according to three UN agencies – The Food and Agriculture Organization, World Food Programme and UNICEF.
