The FAO Representative to Tanzania, Ms Louise Lobisa SETSHWAELO, visited Headquarters, this month, and gave us her views on the current situation:

The task is huge in a country like the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where the most vulnerable are concentrated in and around the capital city Kinshasa. FAO Representative to DRC, Mr Musa Saihou Mbenga, on a working visit in Rome, this month, said that the programme for food security is well on track.
