24th session of the Committee on Agriculture
29 September 2014, Rome--- The Committee on Agriculture (CoAg) will meet this week in Rome to discuss a wide range of issues, including family farming, sustainable agriculture, food safety, governance, investment monitoring, sustainable livestock production, the global soil partnership and agricultural heritage systems. This Committee is the governing body of FAO. The discussions and reviews of programmes and policies happening this week will ultimately determine the work and programme strategies for the Organization going forward.
