Transforming agriculture to address climate change and other global challenges

26 September 2016, Rome--- The Committee on Agriculture will meet this week in Rome to discuss a range of issues to help ensure effective action by the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization. The Committee is one of FAO’s governing bodies and the Organization’s main technical advisory committee. The theme for this year’s conference is: Pathways to Sustainable Food and Agriculture. The issues, programmes and policies being discussed this week will be integral to the work of the organization going forward.
