Aquaculture and XVth Session of COFI FT, Agadir, Morocco, 22-26 Feb.2016
Aquaculture is a very important both for food security and for economic growth, explains Audun Lem, Deputy Director of FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Policy and Resources Division. He also illustrates some of the issues related to the sector. At the next session of the FAO COFI FT (Sub-Committee on Fish Trade), among others, the discussion will touch topics as the need of revised guidelines for tracing fish from catch to market, and updating the list of endangered species.
