Raúl González Blanco, captain of Real Madrid, will certainly remember his visit to Dakar on 27 November, 2006. The footballer, an FAO Goodwill Ambassador, went there with his wife to visit FAO agricultural projects and raise awareness amongst his supporters about hunger and food insecurity issues.
