Hunger and nutrition: key figures and challenges

Some 805 million people go hungry every day and 2 billion don’t get enough nutrients to lead healthy lives. On the occasion of the Second International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2), FAO compiled key hunger and nutrition data from 1992 to 2014. This video animation shows both the progress made and the nutritional challenges that remain to be tackled in the 21st century.
