El Niño impact in Ethiopia and FAO Response

One of the most devastating El Niño events on record continues to affect the lives and livelihoods of farmers and herders in Ethiopia. FAO has begun implementing a response plan to support over 600.000 of the worst affected people in the immediate future. The village of Aydora in the Somali region, is one of the areas that have been selected to benefit from the de-stocking intervention.
