Cette vidéo n'est pas disponible en ligne
Rapid urban growth in Vietnam is putting pressure on agricultural supplies, as the gap between urban consumerism and unchanging rural tradition widens. A series of FAO projects help farmers diversify their production by providing training and technical back-up for crops such as maize, sugar cane and fruit trees, and the raising of livestock. Traditional rice crops are also made more productive, with the introduction of new high-yield varieties.
