@FAOnews is the main FAO Twitter account for sharing news and information that covers the span of the Organization's activities. We use it to provide updates on FAO's work on world hunger and hunger alleviation, agricultural development, rural poverty, natural resource management, forestry, fisheries, animal health, and climate change – as well as to share interesting information and content from other parties on these same issues.

Content or links distributed via the @FAOnews account are shared on a purely informational basis; links to or retweets of content by other parties do not represent an endorsement of that content or the information or views contained therein. FAO is not responsible for the content of any website or social media channel not hosted & operated by FAO. Paper.li

FAO believes that by sharing information from around the web and the social media space we are contributing to a global conversation on sustainable agriculture, forestry, and fisheries and the fight to end hunger. For this reason we often share information from around the web as well as from within FAO. One way we do this is through the Twitter aggregator, Paper.li. Inclusion of content in FAO-associated Paper.li dailies occurs automatically and does not represent an editorial choice or endorsement.
