FAO Representative meets with Chinese Ambassador to discuss possible areas of collaboration

Abuja - On May the 20, the Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Nigeria and to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Mr. Fred Kafeero held discussions with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Nigeria and to ECOWAS H.E Cui Jianchun at the UN House in Abuja, Nigeria.

Their discussions centered on strengthening the bilateral partnership between FAO and China in moving forward the #ZeroHunger agenda in Nigeria as it is the case at the global level. HE Ambassador Jianchun reiterated his country’s commitment to promote technologies for increased agricultural productivity and farmers’ incomes.
