Phase 3 - Guidance

The first two years of the project will have elaborated and helped apply the analytical framework at the national and sub-national levels in participating countries. Phase 3, as the final stage of the project, is intended to strengthen institutional capacities, transfer knowledge and exchange information between public and private sectors in the partner countries.

This phase will focus on capacity building, policy formulation and the collaboration necessary to ensure that project results are sustainable:
  • Planned training workshops will ensure that project outreach extends beyond the participating countries.
  • Focus on capacity building and information exchange between the national project teams and public and private sector counterparts will support sustainable knowledge management.
  • Potential bioenergy projects, suitable for investment and supportive of rural development, will be identified

More information on this process will be coming soon, as well as information related to capacity-building, training workshops and policy and analytical guidance materials.
