CLIMAGRI is an agro-meteorological research
programme to evidence current climate anomalies and changes and
provide hypotheses about the impact on the Italian agricultural
sector.
CLIMAGRI can be considered as a scientific programme with
an operational component: it proposes methodologies in order to
disseminate, with appropriate modalities, the information and the
results in an effective way to various users in the agricultural
sector. The final objective of the FAO contribution is to support
the transfer of methodologies elaborated under CLIMAGRI
to developing countries of the Mediterranean area.
