Dear all, we are receiving many requests on how to download the data.

The data portal provides geospatial and tabular information at global, regional and national level on agricultural resources and potential. The geospatial data is available at 5 arc-minutes pixel resolution (that is almost 9 x 9 km along the equator). The database is suitable and mainly used for analysis at global and regional level.

The data is distributed free of charge from the data portal. All the geospatial imagery in raster format, tables and graphs can be downloaded from the data portal http://gaez.fao.org/Main.html . You need only to register (one time only) and can download all the datasets as needed.

When you visualize a map you can press the download buttons:
- If you select the “Map” TAB you have the following downloads options:

- If you select the “Table” or the “Custom“ TABs you have the following downloads options:

In order to get the data in raster format for any GIS system use the zip icon. To get the CVS data select the “Table” or the “Custom“ TABs.
