Active fire/hotspot shapefiles

Active fire/hotspot detections in shapefile format are available for the last 24 hours, 48 hours and 7 day time periods. These shape files are updated every hour starting at 00:30 ET (USA). The files have been zipped to reduce download size. Please use any valid compression software to extract the contents. The size of the files vary each day in accordance to the number of hotspots/fires, in general, the zipped file size should range anywhere between 3 KB to 3.0 MB.
